Vinnaithandi Varuvaaya Movie Review
Vinnaithandi Varuvaaya Movie Review
Its takes only a director like Gautam Menon to take a simple love story and turn into a classic one like Vinnaithandi Varuvaaya. Starring Silambarasan and Trisha in the lead role Vinnaithandi Varuvaaya’s simple message is Love is beautiful but it can be painful too.
Vinnaithandi Varuvaaya is a love story between Karthik (Silambarasan), a wannabe filmmaker, who is the tenant at the house of Jessie (Trisha), an employee in Infosys. Karthik who is a year older than Jessie falls in love with her at first sight and pursues her. Jessie seems to reciprocate the feelings but there is a huge barrier to their love – Religion. When Jessie’s parents come to know about their love, they arrange Jessie’s marriage else where. What happens next forms the climax of the story.
Silambarasan and Trisha have given a good performance and their on screen chemistry is good. While the first half proceeds at a brisk phase, second half is a little slow until the climax. The Music by Rahman is awesome with the romantic numbers on everyone’s lips. Cameraman manoj has done a great job.
If you are in love and want to see whats happening in your life the right place to land is VTV.
